Registration
Anyone who has a company set up that is currently at work on a startup project can apply by registering and then completing the entry form. Participation is free of charge and registration is open until the 12th of September, 2017.
Project Details
After registering, we will email you more information about the competition and a copy of your application, for your confirmation. You'll also be asked to provide more details about your project, which will be used during the selection process.
Top 50 Assessment
An expert jury will evaluate all registered projects and select the most promising fifty startups, which will be given free access to the Startup World Cup & Summit and be entered for the Fundlift Award. Nine startups, with the best evaluations, will be automatically shortlisted for the top 10, with the final spot reserved for one wildcard entrant, which will be selected after all other projects are showed off in the Trial Pitch Zone.
Finals
The top 10 startups will showcase their projects on the main stage of the SWCS, with the winner advancing to the Silicon Valley Grand Final where they'll have the opportunity to win an investment of $1,000,000. The winner of the Startup World Cup regional finals will be selected by an expert jury panel, consisting of industry leaders and startup veterans.
Advance to the Global Grand Finale in Silicon Valley to compete for the main prize – an investment of $1,000,000! All projects from the regional top 50 will also compete for the Fundlift Award, where three startups will receive a financial bonus of up to $200,000 and be showcased on the Czech investment/crowdfunding platform, Fundlift, for even more funding opportunities.
