Startups interested in participating in the Startup World Cup need to mark their calendars for September 12th - the final day to apply. All applications can be submitted here and will be evaluated by an expert jury, consisting of experienced investors and industry leaders.
The jury will assess the projects and select the TOP 50, with the nine most promising ones automatically entered into the regional finals. The last spot in the TOP 10 will be up for grabs, as the other 41 participants battle it out in the Trial Pitch Zone hoping to claim that wild card entry.
In the Trial Pitch Zone, the remaining startups will pitch their project to the jury and virtual investment money will be awarded by the investors. The startup receiving the biggest amount will get the wild card spot and with it, the opportunity to compete in the Startup World Cup regionals and advance to the Silicon Valley World Finals.
Additionally, all TOP 50 projects will be automatically considered for the Fundlift Award, where 3 startups will be selected to have their project showcased on Fundlift, an innovative Czech investment-crowdfunding platform, where they can receive up to $200K!
If you’re a startup looking to be seen and get funded, then pick up your tickets, mark your calendar, and get ready to dive into a sea of opportunity at the Startup World Cup & Summit!
